Applicants must:

Contact and apply to the College of Alberta Denturists. More information on registration for international applicants can be found on the College of Alberta Denturists website under International Applications. Applicants are encouraged to note that an International Qualifications Assessment (IQAS) Description of Coursework Assessment must be submitted with the application.

Successfully challenge the College of Alberta Denturists- Denturist Qualification Examination-Part I (a multiple choice examination covering all aspects of the profession in Alberta) and Part II (a removable partial denture design practical examination).

Successfully challenge The Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) Denturist Clinical Assessment.

Successfully complete specified continuing competency courses and/or specified number of hours of continuing competency courses.

Complete direct supervised employment with a College approved Regulated Member.

Successful challenge the College of Alberta Denturists, Denturist Qualification Examination Part III (a two and one-half day clinical examination).

In Alberta, the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) in Edmonton offers a three year Denturist Technology program that includes an internship.
