Internationally educated Magnetic Resonance Technologist’s must:
- Submit an Application for Assessment. It is important to note that candidates are evaluated based on substantially equivalent qualifications. Therefore, additional training, testing or education program may be a result of the assessment.
- Submit all the required documents (found on the ACMDTT website) which will be used to determine qualifications. Candidates must also submit an International Qualifications Assessment Service (IQAS) basic assessment document evaluation.
- Provide evidence of English language proficiency.

What is the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) certification exam
http://www.camrt.caThe Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) is the association responsible for the administration of the CAMRT certification exam. The CAMRT exam is based on medical radiation competencies and is composed of case study questions in multiple-choice format. Study guides and exam reference material are available on the CAMRT website.
Applicants are encouraged to be aware of exam registration deadlines, CARMT eligibility requirements, examination fee, exam frequency and the turnaround time for exam results.
