Career coaching appointments are usually 45 minutes or shorter if you have a quick question.
Before your appointment you should prepare a list of questions you have about your job search and/or pursuing licensure in your field, be prepared to talk about your employment and education history as well the type of jobs and companies you are interested in .
Career coaches will provide you with the tools you need to help you search for a job in Canada. It is your responsibility to prepare for job search and apply to opportunities. The team is here to support you as you improve and enhance your professional skills towards achieving career success.
You are responsible for communicating with your career coach. This means keeping them up-to date with your job search progress, employment outcomes and communicating if you cannot attend an appointment or workshop.
Our in-person workshops are 3 to 4 hours. Online workshops are two hours.

Our services are provided at no cost to our clients. The services are funded by the federal and provincial governments. The Province of Alberta is working in partnership with the Government of Canada to provide employment support programs and services.
