Directions for Immigrants is a no cost career service centre that helps internationally educated professionals secure professional employment and gain accreditation.We work with professionals in any occupation in any industry. Our services are at no cost as we are funded by the Government of Alberta and the Government of Canada.
How do we help?
We provide clear, accurate, up-to-date information on job search and accreditation, we help clients create an action plan to find professional employment or pursue accreditation and we offer one-on-one career coaching, workshops and licensing study groups.
Bow Valley College is situated in Treaty 7 territory. We honour the territories and Peoples of: the Blackfoot Confederacy, which includes the Siksika, Kainai, Piikani, and Amskapi Piikani (Blackfeet) First Nations; the Tsuut’ina First Nation; and the Îyâxe Nakoda, which includes the Goodstoney, Chiniki, and Bearspaw First Nations. We also acknowledge the historical Northwest Métis homeland and the Otipemisiwak Métis Government of Alberta, districts 4, 5, and 6 in Battle River territory.
